Crusaders extended their lead at the top of the Irish Premiership table to eight points as they came from two goals down to defeat Glentoran 4-2.

An early Curtis Allen double had seemingly put the visitors in control but quickfire goals from Jordan Forsythe and Matthew Snoddy levelled the scores at the break. Further strikes from Billy Joe Burns and Jordan Owens ensured victory, while Glentoran's Ciaran Caldwell was dismissed for a second yellow card in between.

The Glens have now lost three league games in a row and four of their last five.

Cliftonville's winless league run extended to five matches as they conceded twice late on to draw 3-3 at Glenavon.

Two goals from James Knowles alongside's Jaimie McGovern's first ever goal for the club weren't enough to bring the Reds three points, thanks to an Eoin Bradley hat-trick for the hosts. Following the match, Bradley signed a new two-year deal with the Lurgan Blues.

Warrenpoint Town remain six points adrift at the foot of the table despite a 3-0 win over Coleraine. It was only Barry Gray's side second win of the campaign and their first clean sheet. Two strikes from Stephen Murray and a third from Martin Murray (no relation) were enough to gain the hosts all three points.
