Northern Ireland right-back Lee Hodson has become Glasgow Rangers eighth summer signing, as he joins the club on a three-year deal from MK Dons.

The 24-year-old, who was part of the Northern Ireland Euro 2016 squad this summer and played 16 times on loan at Kilmarnock last season, moves to Ibrox on an undisclosed fee.

Notts County have signed midfielder Michael O'Connor on a two-year deal from Port Vale. The 28-year-old has been capped 11 times by Northern Ireland but said he was 'considering his international future' after being left out of the squad in March 2015.

Ballymena United have signed former Glentoran midfielder Francis McCaffrey on a one-year contract, after the central midfielder left The Oval earlier this summer.

Another player on his way out of Glentoran is Kristian Gibson - the Glasgow Rangers youth product joined the Glens last summer but has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

Ards club captain James Cully has announced that he is retiring from the game. Cully spent five years at the club and helped them win last season's Championship One title.
