There was an impressive turnouts across the league on the opening day of the campaign, with an average attendance of 1,160 across the games.

Three of the five matches had attendances comfortably over 1,000 with the matches at Seaview and The Oval just missing the 1,500 mark.

Last season's average attendance across the league was 967 - a record high since data began being collected in 2008.
