Ballinamallard United have signed striker Stephen O'Flynn from Crusaders on a permanent deal until the end of the campaign, though he will move to Glentoran in the summer having signed a pre-contract at The Oval.

The 33-year-old joined Crusaders a year ago having fired Institute to the top flight with 18 goals in 29 appearances in Championship One.

O'Flynn has previously played for five League of Ireland clubs including Cork and Derry City, and also had a spell at Northampton Town.

He is Whitey Anderson's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Ryan Mayse (Dergview), Jake Dykes (Sligo Rovers) and Ivan Sproule on loan (Linfield), however striker Liam Martin has departed for Sligo.

The Cork-native will be Alan Kernaghan's third signing as Glentoran boss, following the arrivals of winger Chris Lavery from Lurgan Celtic and the loan deal for Crusaders midfielder Chris Morrow.
