Former Cliftonville striker Joe Gormley is set to join St. Johnstone on a six-month loan deal from Peterborough United.
The deadline day move will see the 26-year-old aim to get his professional career back on track after a cruciate knee injury ruled him out of the majority of his first season at Posh.
The Northern Irish striker had been at London Road for three months when the cruel injury occurred, having just arrived in England after a sensational goal scoring spell in the Irish Premiership.
Gormley hit 111 goals across four seasons at Cliftonville, including 40 in his final campaign. He is the second former Reds striker to compete in the Scottish Premiership, with Liam Boyce currently at Ross County.
