Crusaders will kickstart their defence of the Irish Premiership title by hosting David Jeffrey's Ballymena United in the opening round of games.

Elsewhere, newly promoted Ards will take on Cliftonville in a repeat of last season's League Cup final, while Linfield travel to Ballinamallard.

Also on 6 August, Glenavon play Carrick Rangers, Glentoran host Dungannon Swifts and Coleraine take on Portadown, who start the campaign with a 12 point deduction.

Last year's top two will clash in week three as Linfield travel to Crusaders, while the second round of fixtures will be midweek on 10 August.

The publication of the fixtures was delayed because of Warrenpoint Town's appeal against their Premiership relegation, which was rejected at an arbitration hearing.

Carrick Rangers remained in the top flight while Warrenpoint were relegated, and Ballinamallard United overcame Institute in the promotion/relegation playoff.
