A winding-up order has been issued against Championship One side Bangor in connection with the installation of a 3G pitch at Clandeboye Park.

A judge agreed to a requested two-week adjournment but suggested the the case 'could be the end of the line' for the club.

The order is in relation to outstanding debts surrounding the pitch, which was installed three years ago in the hope of bringing extra revenue to the club.

Contractor TAL Civil Engineering is reportedly behind the petition due to outstanding debts for its work on the all-weather surface.

The Seasiders currently lie 10th in the 14-team second tier and are on a poor run of form. They missed out on promotion to the top flight last May following a play-off defeat to Warrenpoint Town.
