Ards have announced five new signings to bolster their squad ahead of the Championship One campaign, while manager Niall Currie has agreed a new two-year deal.
Goalkeeper Ryan Brown arrives from Cliftonville. The 34-year-old made over 200 appearances for Bangor before spending four years at Solitude. Another ex-Reds man to join is Emmet Templeton, the midfielder joins after an impressive campaign for Donegal Celtic.
Defenders Kyle Buckley (Ballyclare Comrades) and Mark Stewart (Loughgall) while former Ballymena United striker Jordan Baker comes in after a spell at Derriaghy.
However, whilst midfielder William Faulkner has left the club, both Kyle McDowell and Rory Carson have signed new one-year deals.
Manager Niall Currie continues to work hard to strengthen his squad for the upcoming season, commenting to the club's website: "The Championship is a very competitive market and we have had to compete with many other teams for signings. But we will get the right players."
