David Healy's Linfield have been on fine form in all competitions since the start of December, with all players contributing towards that with consistent performances.
However, there is one player whose grafting in midfield may go unnoticed at times. Since being played in central midfield in a 2-1 victory away to Ballymena United in December, versatile Linfield man Sean Ward hasn't looked back, putting in consistently excellent performances for the Blues and doing the dirty work in midfield.
Ward has been mostly played as a centre back so far in his three seasons at the South Belfast club but the general feeling amongst Linfield fans is that he has taken his game to another level since stepping into midfield.
The former Glentoran player has three goals to his name this season and has gelled a good midfield partnership with Jamie Mulgrew.
Ward was recently rewarded for has fine form by Linfield fans as he was voted the 'Linfield Supporters Trust' player of the month for February.
